What to Bring/Wear

In Florida, the weather can change several times a week.  We recommend asking your guide for his recommendations the day prior to the trip.  Sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended for everyone.

East River
Navarre Eco Tours

The East Bay River is a 15-mile-long river located in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. It flows from east to west, forming near Hurlburt Field.  The river forms part of the southern boundary of Eglin Air Force Base.

Fundy Bayou
Navarre Kayak Fishing

Fundy Bayou is located just on the western side of Blackwater Bay is fed by Juniper Creek.  The small bayou is home to a variety of marine life, as well as birds, bears, and deer.  The bayou provides a calm and relaxing pedal.

Grassy Point
Navarre Eco Tours

Grassy Point (also known as Escribano Point) allows for easy access to Catfish Basin, Dog Basin, and the southern sloughs of Yellow River.  This area is home to a variety of wildlife and we often spot Bald Eagles in the area.

Summer

From May - October Dolphins are plentiful just off of Navarre Beach.

We recommend launching the kayaks at first light to experience and amazing sunrise from one of the local waterways.

Winter

The winter months provide a unique experience for those willing to launch the kayaks in the afternoon.

It's perfect for customers who want to photograph Pelicans and other wildlife.
